Microsoft Edge autofill no longer works

I used to fill out online form fields using Edge’s autofill, which was even synced with my Microsoft account, letting it work on both my phone and my PC. Very handy.

Now the data for automatic filling no longer appears, and I have to type each field in the form manually. I went into the browser settings and found information that Microsoft is changing Wallet options (likely related to them removing autofill from the Authenticator), but that also made Autofill itself stop working.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Does anyone recommend a browser that still has this feature intact? It matters to me.

Note: I tried Chrome and Brave too, and it’s the same. Autofill doesn’t work. This makes me think it’s something that affects all Chromium-based browsers.

See if you have any extension that might be interfering.

If it’s something Chromium-related, it’s worth taking a look at the flags to see if there’s anything that fixes it.

How do I do that? I’ve always used the same ones. I haven’t installed any recently.

I searched and found only the flag #show-autofill-type-predictions. It was on by default; I enabled it, restarted, and nothing happened.

In Edge it’s at edge://wallet/settings (it seems they’ll change the location soon). And since I have Bitwarden active it disables autofill of passwords and ‘personal information’. (the extension icon appears)

Here these three appeared, but I didn’t quite understand what they do.

Edit: I just tested here and even with Bitwarden active it keeps autofilling in the forms, as long as this option isn’t active in BW. It’s the one that overwrites Edge’s autofill.
