As Galaxy device users, I’m thinking about leaving the Apple ecosystem (iDevices), so drop me your feedback on your user experience and on the integration between the devices prfv!!!
To explain better: After the feedback from @CesarSilva, I’ve decided that if I migrate from the Apple ecosystem to Samsung, I can use the YouTube Music and Apple Music duo to meet my needs (being able to keep my Apple Music, and not needing to migrate to Spotify); I also took advantage of his comment’s cue as well:
So, please explain how the integration works, from basic things like copying on one device and pasting on the other, to more complex things!!!
Here’s the information about what I would migrate between the platforms (which devices): • iPhone 15 Pro Max = Galaxy S25 Ultra • MacBook Pro M2 Pro = Galaxy Book4 Edge(Snapdragon X Elite, not the Brazil version) • AirPods Pro 2 = Galaxy Buds3 Pro • Apple Watch Series 8 = Galaxy Watch 7 • iPad Air M2 = Galaxy Tab S10+

P.S.: about Galaxy AI being much better than the Apple Intelligence, I already know that lol
The Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch, and Smart Tags work as well as Apple’s equivalents.
Integration with iCloud and Macbook, I find it hard to match, but Link to Windows does a decent job together with OneDrive. But I think things are more straightforward on Apple devices.
I use both, but I’ve already mentioned here on the forum that I prefer Android, especially in the Samsung world, for some conveniences that irritate me about Apple.
In general, some top apps are better crafted in the Apple ecosystem - UI/UX, etc.
That case of Samsung Notes not working anymore on Windows without a workaround was a loss (a workaround is always a workaround). But today I use Standard Notes and Notion as “notebooks”.
That’s what I expected—the part of the ecosystem where Samsung controls both hardware and software would work as well as Apple’s.
I must admit that’s my biggest concern: how to handle Windows integration!

Isso infelizmente é vdd, mas é culpa dos devs mesmo: basta ver que no iOS 18, a Apple criou o tema escuro pros ícones do apps, e quase todos os principais já se adaptaram; diferente do que acontece no Android, onde o Google já introduziu o “Material You” a muito tempo, e muitos ignoram (o iFood é um bom exemplo no caso de ambas as plataformas)…
Unfortunately that’s true, but it’s the developers’ fault: just look that in iOS 18, Apple created the dark theme for app icons, and almost all major ones have adapted; unlike what happens on Android, where Google has already introduced “Material You” a long time ago, and many ignore it (iFood is a good example for both platforms)…

iFood doesn’t take care of its UX well, let alone adapting to Google’s guidelines.
Regarding the ecosystem question, I think I mentioned somewhere that it works well for my use, but there are things that irritate me.
For example: the earbud can even switch intelligently between the phone and the watch (I only use it to go to the gym), but sometimes I need to force it to connect to the phone again. It ends up kind of memorizing the last device and the earbud prioritizes its connection. I even paired it with the tablet but I never kept switching with it.
One thing that irritates me are the notifications. For example: I note my appointments and some birthdays in the Samsung calendar, synced with Google. The day there is such a notification it appears on all 3 devices and it stays that way until I disable it on all 3 devices; the system doesn’t understand that I disabled the alarm on one and I want it disabled on all.
The integration of the notes app is very good; you create on one and it already appears on the other, without a lot of fuss or complication. I even tested the calculations on the tablet (and they don’t appear on my S22 Ultra) but it’s pretty bad. I kept testing a few things and calculating the tangent was simply impossible. Am I going to use it? No. But I still think it’s a major flaw.
Another thing that works well is Samsung Health. If you go out without the watch the phone counts the steps and when you put it on it all comes together. Sometimes it takes a bit to sync the day’s workouts by itself but it may be my fault because I keep turning off the phone’s Bluetooth so the earbud connects directly to the watch. Samsung just could decide correctly what it wants from the app’s UI; every redesign gets worse, it’s amazing.
And not strictly about system integration, but I can’t wrap my head around how something as simple as marking water intake wasn’t done: Samsung Health even has a widget for that, but you can only mark one default type at a time, and if I’m not mistaken you can’t customize it (it’s been a long time since I used it).
I don’t have a TV, a laptop, nor a Samsung soundbar, so I can’t comment on the integration with those. But I remember complaining how tedious it is to leave the phone unlocked to be able to use it on Windows or in screen mirroring with the tablet.

Hum, entendi! Então, uma dúvida, se você tiver com ele conectado no relógio (ou tablet), se houver uma chamada no celular, ele consegue saber que é pra alternar de volta??? (Dúvida genuína, pois ocorre com os Airpods, ou fones Beats pra quem tem)

Entendi!!! Isso infelizmente é culpa da Samsung não ter uma “nuvem própria”, pq tanto na Apple, quanto no Google Pixel (pelo feedback de um amg que mora nos EUA e usa o ecossistema Pixel), parece que ambos entendem melhor isso…
Got it!!! Unfortunately that’s Samsung’s fault for not having its own “cloud,” because both on Apple and on Google Pixel (based on feedback from a buddy who lives in the US and uses the Pixel ecosystem), it seems that both understand this better…
The notes app integration is really good; you create in one and it already appears in the other, without much fluff or fuss.

Confesso que isso não me faz falta, pq até hoje, só fiz uma conta básica no iPad pra testar a função de cálculos tbm (que no iPadOS/iOS, fica na calculadora, mesmo que se não me engano, tbm esteja disponível no “Notas”), mas nunca usei muito além disso kkkkk
I’ll admit I don’t miss it, because to this day I’ve only set up a basic account on the iPad to test the calculation function too (which in iPadOS/iOS sits in the Calculator, even if I’m not mistaken, it’s also available in Notes), but I never used it much beyond that, lol.

But that’s something I know I have to deal with during the switch: Samsung’s UI is beautiful, but far from “fluid” like iOS, maybe when they perfect OneUI 7 it’ll improve (since it’s already very pretty, even with some “dry” transitions); but then Apple also spoiled Photos in the last update, wanting to use a layout similar to VisionOS, so none is perfect lol

Pô, sério? Que vacilo!!! Até entendo que no Windows, como sempre digo, sei que o SO não tem o controle profundo da Samsung (como a Apple tem para fzr a integração iOS/macOS), então entendo que o espelhamento exija o celular estar desbloqueado (coisa que no Mac não precisa); agr no tablet?? Não tem essa desculpa, deveria funcionar!!!
Damn, seriously? What a blunder!!! I even understand that on Windows, as I always say, I know the OS doesn’t have deep control over Samsung (as Apple has for iOS/macOS integration), so I understand that mirroring requires the phone to be unlocked (something that on Mac doesn’t require); but on the tablet?? There’s no excuse, it should work!!!

I hope so; that’s silly, but for me it’s actually very useful at work, because I use the computer, and if anything, it knows it needs to migrate to mobile.
