I wanted to buy an e-sim without going to the store. Banco Inter isn’t selling it.
Rumor has it you can swap the regular Vivo chip, from any plan, for an e-SIM via WhatsApp. But it seems pretty hit or miss.
Until recently, you could buy an eSIM through meuplanoclaro.com.br/esim, but it seems they took the site down. It was also full of issues.
But try calling the telesales line (available on that same site). They should still be able to set you up with an eSIM.
Correction: it seems they removed the eSIM request option, not the site. You can still buy traditional SIM cards, but I can’t find any more mentions of eSIM.
Thank you for the reply. But I still haven’t found a way to make the purchase or get in touch with Claro, and in general the carriers say you have to go to the store.
And now the site won’t even open, it just redirects to Claro’s main site.
