Good morning, everyone. I would like to know if there is a way to connect headphones to the TV so that the sound comes out both through the headphones and through the speakers. Let me explain: nowadays, there are many people with hearing impairments, whether young or elderly. When we get together to watch TV, it becomes difficult to adjust the TV’s audio. If we set it to a medium volume, those with hearing issues cannot hear; if we increase it, it becomes chaotic—even the neighbors can hear it!!!
I don’t have a modern TV, but I know some support Bluetooth headphones these days. The problem is that the sound stops coming out of the TV when Bluetooth is activated. Another solution would be to install that system of small speakers spread around the room. That way it would be closer to whoever needs the volume loud. There must be several other alternatives, but those are the only ones I could think of right now.
From what I’ve seen, the LG TV I have in the living room doesn’t support that. If you connect via Bluetooth, the audio only comes out of the headphones. Same thing applies if you plug something into the headphone jack.
Maybe there’s some soundbar you can connect to the TV that could then relay the audio to headphones.

Until today, I had only managed to do this on my PS4, and by accident at that — I went to watch a movie on it using my PlayStation Gold headset, and the PS4 was outputting the audio to both the headset and the TV.
But wouldn’t it be better for everyone to listen through headphones?
If the idea is to bring more comfort, it makes more sense for everyone to use headphones, and then each person can adjust theirs as they like. Plus, there’s the added benefit that if the audio is 5.1 or 7.1, there are headphones that provide that immersive experience. And some headphone software also has features geared toward the hearing impaired (which improve clarity in spoken voice, music equalization…).
I’d also like to find a solution, but for a different reason: sometimes I watch the news and there are other people watching TV too. So if I need to leave the room for some reason, we have to turn the volume way up to hear it. A little Bluetooth speaker would solve that problem, but it would create the problem of leaving whoever is watching the TV without audio.

Does your TV have a headphone jack? I have an old Samsung LCD TV here from 2014. It can send audio to both that output and the TV’s speakers.

You could think of a huge kludge, you’ll need the TV to have a sound output. If it’s optical, you’ll need a converter to analog output. The analog signal can be split to multiple outputs, then you can connect a soundbar (it needs a 3.5mm or RCA input) and an adapter for Bluetooth headphones to it. You’ll probably have issues with audio delay, since each device processes it at a different speed.

Would it be to watch a TV channel (like Globo, etc.) that comes from the TV’s internal receiver or an external one?

I’m not sure if it’s possible to do this on a current TV without needing extra equipment. I do know you can do it on the Xbox One and you don’t even need Bluetooth headphones. Just plug a regular headset into the controller’s input.

From what I’ve seen, your TV has an optical audio output, so you can do:
1 - (easier, more expensive) you connect the TV to the adapter and the adapter itself shares it Mercado Libre?
2 - (harder, cheaper) you’ll connect from the TV to RCA cable, from there you can connect to a PC via a microphone P2 adapter/converter and on the computer you split it for everyone, speaker, headset. Or you can use an RCA splitter for three ways, one you send to some equipment you have that has an RCA input (speaker, home theater) and the other two ways to an RCA to P2 headphone adapter. Usually I watch news, sports, soap operas (for soap lovers), Netflix movies, Now… etc. We are a large family, those with hearing issues sit as close as possible to the TV… But it’s complicated. With Samsung, the lack of standardization in TVs even happens within a single product line: as the screen size increases, the TV gains more features.
These days, I think when buying a TV I should only consider picture quality — the features and shortcomings vary a lot from TV to TV, regardless of the brand.
Depending on the number of people, getting headphones for everyone would end up expensive.
